Linworth Computers

At linworth, basically everyone has gone on facebook or myspace at least once. Most people go on just about everyday. Most of us only do when we have nothing else to do. I know for me, I only do when I have finished all my work. Also, if anyone needs a computer to do school work, I get right on out of there.
I really don't see a problem with getting on facebook, myspace, and other websites like that, if we don't hog the powder room. I haven't really seen anyone refuse to get up when someone needs to work on something. As long as that continues, I really don't see the harm in it.
I can understand that someone mights say that it's not an appropriate use of our school time. I mean, I guess it isn't exactly productive work, but I think that if we have all of our other work done, then it's okay. Of course, it's not up to me to decide, but, I think that the way things are now, are fine. People give computers to students who need to work on them. End of story.

I agree with you, although I'm pretty sure it's district policy that school computers only be used for schoolwork. (The district, afterall, owns the computers) Also, if I'm not mistaken, all students have to sign a contract promising not to use school computers for anything but school in order to be allowed access to them. So when you say that you think the way things are now are fine, you are saying that it's fine for students to break district policy (and break their word, really) and let it go overlooked. Which, I guess, is fine, as long as you realize that.
